Hi Ashley; A lot of the V-twins are low seated, similar to the Savage, although heavier. Visit the dealers and sit on various bikes, you will get a feel for one that you can handle. As far as maxing out at 65, something is wrong. Mine pulls right up into the 80's and it is completely stock with 9,000 miles on original plug. Probably needs to be tuned up, or maybe someone has "de-tuned" it by tinkering with it. Know any (good) mechanics? Frank M.
